Three Arrested After Shooting At Pot Growing Facility

A break-in at a licenced marijuana growing facility in Norfolk County ended with one man shot and three others arrested.

Provincial police and paramedics were called to a property on East Quarter Townline Rd. around 1:50am on Tuesday. The investigation found three men had broken in and shot a 49-year-old man, before taking off.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries.

A vehicle was found near the scene and is being examined by the OPP Forensic Identification Section.

David Lambert, 22, Brad Parks, 23, and Ryan Drabiuk, 23, all from St. Catharines, are charged with aggravated assault, break and enter, and robbery. The trio is scheduled to appear at the Simcoe courthouse to answer to the charges at a later date.

The victim was targeted by the suspects and there is no risk to the public, according to police.

The investigating is ongoing.
