London police are asking for the public's help as they try to identify a man accused of grabbing a woman on a city bus last week.
The woman was waiting for the #13 LTC bus at Masonville Place around 10:50 p.m. last Friday when a man, also waiting for the bus, began talking to her. Once on the bus, the man proceeded to touch the woman inappropriately, police said.
She was able to get off the bus when it stopped on Richmond Street near University Drive. The man stayed on board.
Police describe the man as Caucasian, between the ages of 35-49, 5’8” or slightly shorter, with short slicked-back brown hair. He was clean-shaven and wearing a dark grey or black dress jacket and smelled of cologne.
Anyone with information that could help identify this man is asked to call police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
