London police say they have identified a suspect in their investigation into a sexual assault on a London Transit Commission bus.
Police say a woman was assaulted on Friday, November 23 on the #13 bus. According to police, she was waiting for the bus at Masonville Place around 10:50 p.m. when a man began talking to her. Once on the bus, the man proceeded to touch the woman inappropriately, police said.
She was able to get off the bus when it stopped on Richmond Street near University Drive. The man stayed on board.
Surveillance photos taken on the bus were released by police in hopes of identifying a suspect. They announced Friday that they had and are thanking the public for its help.
Police have not said if charges have been laid yet.
