Munsee-Delaware woman killed in crash

A 23-year-old Munsee-Delaware Nation woman has been identified as the pedestrian killed in a crash southwest of London.

Chippewas of the Thames First Nation police, OPP, and Oneida Nation Paramedic Services were called to Jubilee Road between Thomigo Road and Chippewa Road around 4 a.m. on Sunday. Investigators determined a vehicle was travelling on Jubilee Road when it hit a female pedestrian.

Beulah Peters, 23, was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injures. She died from her injuries a few hours later.

Jubilee Road was closed for several hours as police investigated the circumstances surrounding the crash.
