Police seek suspects in armed robbery

Police in St. Thomas are looking for two men after a knife-point robbery of a restaurant.

Police were called around 10 p.m. Wednesday to the Subway on Talbot Street in St. Thomas. Two men armed with knives had come into the restaurant and demanded money. The clerk gave them the money from the till and the men took off. They were last seen driving west on Talbot Street, heading out of the city.

The clerk wasn't hurt, according to police.

The first suspect is described as being six feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, a mask, and globes.

The second suspect was about 5'8" tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black and grey checkered hooded sweatshirt.

Police are asking for assistance from the public. Anyone with information is asked to call St. Thomas police at 519-631-1224 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
