London police have identified the man whose body was pulled from the Thames River nearly two weeks ago.
The body was spotted in the river near Gibbons Park by a concerned citizen on December 22. Emergency crews were able to retrieve the remains and soon turned to the public for help identifying the man.
The body has since been identified as that of Colton Arsenijevic, 20, of London.
Following an autopsy, police announced the death wasn't consider to be suspicious, although an investigation by the coroner into the cause of death is ongoing.
An online obituary stated Arsenijevic died "as the result of an accident." A memorial service for the 20-year-old was held in West Lorne on Thursday.
Police are asking anyone who had been in contact with Arsenijevic since November 2, 2018 to call them at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
