Def Leppard coming to London

Classic rock legends Def Leppard are bringing their tour to London.

Budweiser Gardens announced Wednesday that the British rockers, who were recently named as 2019 inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, will play the arena on July 22. The show will be part of the Canadian summer tour, which kicks off on July 12 in Halifax and wraps up July 31 in Calgary. The tour will also take the band to Moncton, Quebec City, Montreal, Ottawa, Hamilton, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, and Edmonton. The opening act will be Tesla.

Def Leppard released its first album, "On Through the Night", in 1980. But it was their 1983 album, "Pyromania", that made them stars in North America. They achieved super-stardom with the release of 1987's "Hysteria" which sold 25 million copies.

Tickets for the London show go on sale Friday, January 18 at 10 a.m.
