A woman had to be airlifted to hospital following a single vehicle crash northeast of Woodstock.
Emergency crews were called after a white SUV travelling on 10th Line in East Zorra-Tavistock Township left the roadway and rolled in the ditch just after 12 p.m. on Wednesday. The vehicle came to rest on the edge of a farmer's field.
"The female driver was airlifted to a London-area hospital with serious life-threatening injuries. She has since been downgraded to stable condition," said OPP Constable Ed Sanchuk.
The roadway is closed between Hwy. 2 and Oxford Road 17 as police investigate the cause of the collision.
Charges are said to be pending.
