As one of the victims in a weekend shooting and stabbing in southeast London remains in hospital, a second suspect in the violent attack has been charged.
London police arrested Cody Anthony Leblanc-Ashe, 22, on Wednesday in connection with the incident. He is charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and breach of probation.
Two men were injured in the area of 495 Cleveland Avenue, west of Pond Mills Road, around 1:45 a.m. on Saturday after being approached by two other men who pulled a firearm and a knife. One victim was stabbed while the other was shot.
Both were taken to the hospital, where one has since been released.
Police arrested Jacob Ryan Douglas Seeger, 22, shortly after they arrived on scene. He was charged two days later with robbery with a firearm, aggravated assault, reckless discharge of a firearm, possession of a loaded restricted firearm, possession of a firearm while prohibited and without a licence, and breach of recognizance. Seeger made his first court appearance on Tuesday.
Leblanc-Ashe is scheduled to appear in London court in relation to the charges on Thursday.
