The London Knights dropped a 3-1 decision to the Peterborough Petes in OHL action on Thursday.
The Knights kicked off the game with an early 1-0 advantage after Kevin Hancock scored 2:33 into the first period, but the Petes were able to score two back-to-back goals before the second to steal the lead. After a scoreless second period, the Petes scored in the final 32 seconds of the game to cap off their win.
Despite the loss, the Knights outshot the Petes 35-33. London goalie Joseph Raaymakers made 30 saves during the game.
The Knights will take on the Hamilton Bulldogs next on Friday. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. in London.
