A Norfolk County personal support worker and her husband are facing charges after one of the woman's clients was defrauded of an unspecified amount of money over nearly two years.
Members of a Port Rowan resident's family noticed several inconsistencies in financial transactions made between September 2016 an August 2018 and contacted Norfolk OPP.
Following a six month investigation, officers arrested two people in relation to the case last Saturday.
A 36-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man, both from Norfolk County are now charged with fraud over $5,000. They are scheduled to appear in Simcoe court in relation to the charge on March 19.
