The London Knights lost to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 6-3 on Friday.
The Knights fell behind as the Greyhounds got first period goals from Barret Hayton and Mac Hollowell. Liam Foudy's shorthanded goal at 17:47 of the first made it 2-1.
Jaromir Pytlik and Hayton both scored in the second period for the Greyhounds, while Evan Bouchard answered for the Knights to make it 4-2 going into the second intermission.
Joe Carroll opened the scoring in the third period, giving the Greyhounds a 5-2 lead. Bouchard scored again for London to make it 5-3. Then, Hayton finished off his hat trick with an empty net goal at 17:05 of the third period.
The Knights face off against the Saginaw Spirit Saturday at 7:05 p.m. in Saginaw.
