One person has died after a collision involving a transport truck and a car in Oxford County.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police, a sedan and a transport truck collided in the intersection of Foldens Line and Karn Road before 10 a.m. Friday. One of the people in the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police closed Foldens Line between Clarke Road and Beachville Road, and Karn Road between Church Line and West Hill Line for several hours. Both roads re-opened late Friday afternoon.
The investigation is in its early stages and police say more information will be released when it becomes available.
Police are asking anyone with any information to call Oxford OPP or Crime Stoppers.
