Oxford OPP were called after the truck hit the rear of a buggy travelling the same direction on Baldwin Street around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
The 31-year-old driver of the truck and the 75-year-old operator of the buggy were not hurt.
The investigation is ongoing and charges are expected to be laid, police said.
