The province's police watchdog is investigating after a man was hurt while being apprehended by London police at an east London motel.
Police were called to the motel regarding a disturbance around 11 a.m. on Monday. While officers were attempting to take the man into custody under the Mental Health Act, a 48-year-old man was injured, police said.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment.
The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) was notified about the incident and has launched an investigation.
