The commute Thursday afternoon was a slow one for drivers to the west of London after three vehicles collided on Highway 401.
Elgin OPP were called after the crash in the eastbound lanes of the highway near Iona Road around 3 p.m.
One person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash forced the closure of the eastbound lanes of the 401 at Iona Road to allow for clean up of the wreckage. It was reopened shortly after 4:30 p.m. but it is expected to be closed again around 7 p.m. for around three hours.
