Families looking for something to do with the kids this long weekend will be able to take them to the city's spray pads.
The City of London has announced that its 16 spray pads will open for the season on Saturday. The pads will then be open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. A list of the city's spray pads and their activation buttons can be found by clicking here.
The North London Athletic Fields and Springbank Gardens cooling misters also open this weekend.
"The cooling misters are a great way for park users, runners, and cyclists to cool off while enjoying London’s amazing parks and trails," said a statement from the city.
Even without going to the spray pads, it could be a wet long weekend with a chance of rain in the forecast all three days. Temperatures will be warm though with highs of 18 C, 24 C, and 19 C Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
