Sexual assault suspect sought

A search for a suspect is on after a woman was sexually assaulted in northwest London.

London police said it happened just after 5 p.m. Sunday. According to police, a woman was in the area of Sherwood Forest Square on Wonderland Road North when a man approached her and "touched her inappropriately." Police said the woman did not suffer any physical injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male, between the ages of 17 and 25, 6'0" or taller, with a medium and muscular build, short black hair, and some facial hair. He was wearing a red, long-sleeved hooded sweatshirt and black pants. He was also carrying a blue backpack. The suspect had a deep voice with an accent.

"Video surveillance of the suspect was obtained, and officers are asking for assistance from the public in identifying the individual involved," police said in a statement issued Wednesday.
