London police are looking for a suspect after a man on a bicycle tried to sexually assault a woman in Gibbons Park.
The woman was walking her dog near the pathway to St. James Street around 3:30 p.m. on Friday when a man on a bike began circling her and making crude gestures. The man tried to touch the woman inappropriately before peddling over to a wooded area, where he continued to watch her.
The man was last seen riding his bike east toward St. James Street.
The victim was not physically hurt.
Police are now looking for a man described as Caucasian, in his late teens or early 20s, with spiky black hair, and a thin patchy black moustache. He was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans and may have a possible speech impediment.
The bicycle the man was riding was said to be old and rusted.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
