A two-vehicle crash involving a cement truck in southeast London has sent one person to hospital with serious injuries.
Emergency crews were called to Highbury Avenue south of Dingman Drive after a vehicle and cement truck collided around 8 a.m. on Thursday.
One of the drivers had to be cut from the wreckage and was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
London police closed the stretch of road between Dingman Drive and Westminster Drive for nearly two hours as they investigated the cause of the crash. City crews were also brought in to clear fluids and debris from the scene. The road has since been reopened.
