Provincial police are investigating after a trucker was threatened during an attempted armed robbery outside of a service centre off Hwy. 401 near Woodstock.
The transport truck driver was at the eastbound Onroute service centre around 4 a.m. on Friday when two men threatened him and tried to steal his trailer. It is believed the men had weapons, but ended up taking off empty handed, Oxford OPP said.
No one was hurt during the attempted robbery.
