Provincial police are investigating after vandals caused damages at the Ingersoll Rural Cemetery.
Oxford OPP were called to the cemetery on Cemetery Lane in Zorra Township on Tuesday. A cemetery employee had arrived that morning to find the area where the urns are kept has been "tampered with," police said.
It is believed the damage happened sometime between June 28 and July 1.
Police are asking anyone who noticed any suspicious persons or vehicles in the area during that time to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-2477 (TIPS).
