(BlackburnNews.com file photo)A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after being thrown from his bike south of St. Thomas.
Elgin OPP were called to the single-vehicle crash on Roberts Line near Sunset Drive around 11:25 a.m. on Sunday. The motorcycle was heading west on Roberts Line when the driver lost control while going around a bend in the road, police said.
The unidentified motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Hospitals in southwestern Ontario are feeling the effects of underfunding, according to a new report by the CCPA.
Fortunately, no children were on board the bus, but the drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
