Police said Thursday that they were searching for a 25-year-old woman from St. Thomas. Not long after police made the announcement, they located the woman.
Police said there would be an increased police presence in the area of the main beach roundabout while officers conducted their search. The officers were expected to clear the scene by mid-afternoon.
Hospitals in southwestern Ontario are feeling the effects of underfunding, according to a new report by the CCPA.
Fortunately, no children were on board the bus, but the drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
