The severe thunderstorm warning came and went but Londoners continued to feel the effects of Saturday's thunderstorm well into the evening.
The weather brought lightning and heavy rain and wind which knocked out many power lines and left thousands without power.
Areas affected according to London Hydro included the Highland, Southcrest, Fox Hollow, Hyde Park, and Oakridge area.
A large majority of the power was restored by 5 a.m. Sunday.
London Fire Department also confirmed via Twitter that many trees and hydro wires are down in multiple parts of the city.
