A woman being held against her will in a garage in St. Thomas was able to escape by crashing a vehicle through the door.
St. Thomas police were called to the north-end home about a domestic dispute Friday. After being confined to the garage for an unspecified amount of time the woman used her car to drive though the door in order to get help, police said.
A 23-year-old St. Thomas man is charged with forcible confinement. He has been released with conditions and a future court date.
