According to Norfolk OPP, several suspects armed with handguns broke into the cannabis growing operation on Concession 14 near Blueline Road in Townsend around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

"Once inside one of the victims was assaulted and received minor injuries as a result," Constable Ed Sanchuk said in a Periscope video posted to Twitter.

The suspects then proceeded to remove a large quantity of marijuana before taking off in a red Ford F-150 pickup truck with a cap over the bed of the truck. A U-Haul truck was seen following the pickup.
