(BlackburnNews.com photo)Provincial police have released the name of the man killed in an ATV crash near Port Stanley over the Labour Day weekend.
William Bircham, 72, of Aylmer died when his machine crashed on Lake Line in Southwold Township around 1:30 p.m. last Saturday.
Bircham, the lone occupant of the ATV, was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no signs of impairment or aggressive driving, police said.
Hospitals in southwestern Ontario are feeling the effects of underfunding, according to a new report by the CCPA.
Fortunately, no children were on board the bus, but the drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
