London police have arrested a man following gunshots in East London on Friday morning.
The incident that happened at a home on Elm Street and Pine Street around 7 a.m., did not cause any injuries, but neighbors were left shaken.
Police took several people into custody Friday morning, but they were all released unconditionally later in the day.
A 26-year-old London man is now charged with discharging a restricted firearm, possession of a restricted firearm, possession of a loaded firearm, careless use of a firearm, carrying a concealed firearm and 16 counts of possession of firearms and ammunition contrary to the order of prohibition.
Police also said the firearm had been found and that the case has been turned over to the Major Crime Section.
The 26-year-old is currently in custody and is scheduled to appear in a London court on Wednesday.
