An early morning apartment fire in east London has sent one person to hospital.
Firefighters were called to a blaze at an apartment complex at 1455 Trafalgar Street, east of Hale Street shortly after 4 a.m. on Monday.
The building was evacuated as a precaution and one person was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
Fire crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire in a second floor unit and ventilate the building.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
A damage estimate has not yet been released.
