Police seek driver in rollover crash near Woodstock

Provincial police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that rolled into a ditch southeast of Woodstock Friday morning.

Emergency crews were called to the single-vehicle crash in the area of Highway 59 and Oxford Road 14 in Norwich Township around 3:45 a.m. Oxford OPP have determined the driver lost control of the vehicle , causing it to roll into a north ditch.

Following the crash, the driver took off from the scene. It is not known whether the driver was hurt, but there is concern for that individual's health due to the significant damage to the vehicle, police said.

A search of the area for the vehicle's driver by officers, including those with the OPP canine unit, was not successful.
