OPP responded to the complaint, which led to the domestic assault charge being laid.
The officer was off-duty when the incident occurred.
According to police, the officer has been reassigned to administrative duties.
A 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection to the sexual assault of a child.
Police responded to 11 incidents between July 26 and August 19.
