Provincial police are investigating after a collision near St. Thomas claimed one life.
Elgin County OPP said the collision involving an SUV and a transport truck happened just after 7:30 a.m. on Friday. According to police, the transport truck was heading east when it collided with a westbound SUV on Highway 3 near Ron McNeil Line.
The driver of the SUV, 36-year-old Timothy Regnier of London, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Highway 3 is closed between Ron McNeil Line and Sunset Drive.
