Battalion batter Knights 7-4

The London Knights are riding a four-game losing streak after falling 7-4 to the North Bay Battalion on Thursday.

Jonathan Gruden kicked off the game for London with an early goal in the first period, but North Bay scored two of their own to take the lead heading into the second. The Battalion scored another three back-to-back goals in the first 13 minutes of the second frame before Nathan Dunkley was able to score London's second goal of the night.

Avery Winslow started the final frame for the Knights by scoring after just over a minute and Dunkley scored again just a few seconds later to bring London within one goal of North Bay. The rest of the game was almost scoreless but the Battalion added two more goals in the final 1:20 of the game to cap off their win.

Despite the loss, the Knights outshot the Battalion 38-36.

The Knights will look to bound back on Friday in Sudbury when they take on the Wolves at 7:05 p.m.
