Drunk driving charges have been laid after a vehicle went off the road near the police station in St. Thomas.
Officers came across the vehicle around 4 a.m. on Sunday and determined it had been travelling on Caso Crossing when it veered off the roadway.
The driver, a 27-year-old Woodstock woman, provided breath samples to police. It is alleged she had two and a half times the legal limit of alcohol in her system at the time.
She is now charged with operation of a vehicle while impaired. Her vehicle has also been impounded for seven days.
