A London man is facing charges after rolling over a vehicle in St. Thomas while allegedly driving intoxicated.
According to St. Thomas police, officers responded to a single motor vehicle roll-over accident on South Edgeware Road around 2 a.m. Wednesday.
When they arrived at the scene, the vehicle was found abandoned and the K-9 unit was called in to assist.
It was later discovered that the driver had been picked up and transported to the Elgin General Hospital for medical attention.
As a result of the collision, police arrested a 33-year-old man for impaired operation of a vehicle and exceeding 80 mg of alcohol.
He was released from custody with a future court date.
