The London Knights continue to shuffle their lineup.
The team announced Friday that they had traded defenceman Avery Winslow to the North Bay Battalion in exchange for two picks in future OHL Priority Selections.
"The London Knights would like to wish Avery all the best moving forward," said Knights General Manager Mark Hunter. "During his time here in London, Avery showed a tremendous work ethic and approached the game with a strong passion and drive to succeed. We believe that Avery has a bright future ahead of him, and we thank him for his commitment to our organization."
This trade comes two days after the Knights sent three draft picks to the Guelph Storm to get defenceman Markus Phillips.
Winslow was a fifth-round selection for London in 2018. The Clearwater, Florida native made the Knights' roster this past summer. Through 28 games this season, Winslow scored one goal and three assists for four points. He is eligible for the upcoming 2020 NHL Entry Draft.
As a result of trading Winslow, London will receive the Battalion's third-round pick in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection, along with North Bay's fifth pick for the 2024 draft.
