Storm knocks down Knights 3-1

The Guelph Storm ended the London Knights’ 10-game winning streak with a 3-1 victory at Budweiser Gardens on Tuesday.

The Knights took the lead 56 seconds into the first period following a goal by Jonathan Gruden, and London remained ahead with a 1-0 advantage throughout the rest of the first and second frames. However, the Storm gained momentum in the third to score three back-to-back goals to take the lead and ultimately earn the win.

Brett Brochu made 34 saves Tuesday night.

The Knights are at home again on Friday to take on the Kitchener Rangers at 7:30 p.m.
