Provincial police in Norfolk County say they are amazed no one was seriously hurt after a vehicle rolled into a ditch and burst into flames.
Emergency crews were called to the crash on Villa Nova Road, south of Concession 3 in Townsend Sunday afternoon. The vehicle had veered off the road and rolled onto its roof in the ditch before becoming engulfed in flames, according to OPP.
"Officers amazed only minor injuries reported," OPP said in a tweet that accompanied a two-minute video of the vehicle and the efforts to extinguish the fire.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
