London police are asking the public to be on the lookout for two suspects connected to a weekend shooting incident on Marconi Boulevard.
Police are looking for 26-year-old Tyler John Lancha and 39-year-old Kokoete Anietie Udoh, both of London. They are wanted on charges stemming from the incident on Saturday, June 6.
According to police, around 4 p.m., a man and a woman got out of a vehicle in a parking lot on Marconi Boulevard. Two men walked up and an argument began. One of the men pulled a gun from his backpack and shot the male victim. The two men then ran away.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Lancha, the accused shooter, is charged with aggravated assault, use of a firearm during the commission of an indictable offence, discharging a firearm with intent to wound/endanger life, possession of a loaded regulated firearm, and four counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order.
Udoh is charged with aggravated assault.
"The investigation is ongoing," police said in a news release issued Wednesday. "The firearm has not been located and neither of the two charged individuals have been arrested."
