Drivers and cyclists in London's Old East Village (OEV) will have to deal with a significant slowdown in the area this week.
The intersection of Dundas Street and Rectory Street will be closed for one week, starting on Monday. The closure is for extensive work to the intersection as part of the OEV reconstruction project.
Traffic will be closed in all directions while the work is being completed.
A detour route is being set up for drivers and cyclists. London Transit buses will also be rerouted around the construction.
For pedestrians, signs will be put in place to guide them safely through the intersection and construction zone.
