A London man is facing charges after allegedly stabbing an acquaintance.
According to London police, around 4 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, the victim was hanging out with friends in the area of Adelaide Street North. The victim was waiting for the man, who had gone into a home on the street. When the man came out of the home, he had a knife and allegedly stabbed the victim. Police said the victim ran for help and was chased by the man, who then took off when police arrived.
"The victim was transported to hospital by Paramedic Services with serious but non-life threatening injuries," police said.
An arrest was made just before 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Jeremiah Andre Reed, 43, of London, is charged with attempted murder and breach of probation.
He is to appear in court on June 30.
