Suspect sought in sexual assault investigation

London police are investigating an alleged sexual assault that occurred in the southeast part of the city Friday night.

Police say at around 7:30 p.m., a woman walking along the bike path between Chelsea Green Park and Watson Park was approached by a man and sexually assaulted. The victim was not injured and managed to flee the area to notify police.

The suspect is described as a white male, 20 to 30 years of age, 150 to 175 lbs, 5'5" to 5'6", slim build, and black wavy hair. Police say he also may be wearing a shirt around his neck only, black shorts, dark sneakers, and a gold chain.
