Two teens face charges after London police say a shot was fired into the air in east London.
Police said there was an altercation involving a group of teenaged boys and a group of men at a convenience store at 75 Admiral Dr. at around 11:35 p.m. Friday. According to police, one of the boys pulled out a handgun and fired a shot into the air.
"Officers identified the suspects through video surveillance obtained from the convenience store, and both were arrested a few hours later in the east end of the city," police said in a news release issued Monday. "The firearm was not located."
A 17-year-old London male faces several charges, including careless use of a firearm, careless storage of a firearm, discharging a firearm in a reckless manner, carrying a concealed weapon, and failing to comply with an undertaking.
A 15-year-old London male is charged with carrying a concealed weapon.
