Man charged after funeral service disrupted

A man accused of disrupting a funeral and smearing feces on the Woodstock property where the service was being held ended up being arrested twice in the same weekend.

Woodstock police were called to a funeral home in the city on Saturday afternoon after a man began causing a disruption to a funeral service. The man also defaced the funeral home with human feces, police said.

A 57-year-old man was arrested with charged with public mischief. He was soon released on an undertaking, but within 24 hours was arrested a second time for breaking conditions of his release.

The man was being held for a bail hearing related to the latest charge.
