Nicholas Derbowka went missing after being seen walking northbound on Springwater Road between Aylmer and St. Thomas at around 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police announced Wednesday afternoon that the teen has since been found and is now safe with his caregivers.
"The OPP wish to thank the media and the public for their assistance with this matter," police said in a media release.
Windsor police were busy once again dealing with a pair of stunt drivers in as many days.
