St. Thomas teens robbed behind railway museum

St. Thomas police are searching for two suspects after two teens were robbed while walking on a trail behind the Canadian Railway Museum.

The teens were confronted by two men around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One of the men yelled at them, while the second pushed one of the teens to the ground, police said.

No one was hurt, but the men took a green, over the shoulder courier style bag from one of the teens. The bag contained earbuds and a leather wallet with debit and credit cards and identification inside.

The first suspect is described as a man in his 20s, 5’7'' tall, heavyset with long dark blonde hair. He was wearing a baseball hat and a blue face mask.

No description was provided of the second suspect. However, police have released a 20 second surveillance video clip of the two suspects that was taken prior to the robbery.
