London police responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a cyclist near Gainsborough Road and Hyde Park Road just after 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Crews arrived to transport the cyclist to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The 58-year-old driver of the vehicle was not injured during the incident.
Gainsborough Road was reopened around 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Hospitals in southwestern Ontario are feeling the effects of underfunding, according to a new report by the CCPA.
Fortunately, no children were on board the bus, but the drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
