A Woodstock man suffered serious injuries when he was hit in the head with a large steel bolt at a construction site in Arthur.
The 24-year-old was operating a piece of heavy machinery at the site on Schmidt Drive when he was struck around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Emergency crews were called to the scene with paramedics treating the man on-site before taking him to a local hospital. He was later transferred to a trauma centre with serious injuries, Wellington County OPP said.
The Ministry of Labour is investigating.
