Police release photos of sexual assault suspect

Police in London have released photos of the suspect in a sexual assault investigation involving a teenage girl.

According to police, the incident happened on Wednesday between 2:20 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., when the girl was waiting at a bus stop in the area of Hamilton and Rectory Street.

An unknown man approached her during this time and started talking to her, eventually offering her a mask when he noticed that she did not have one with her.

When she declined, the man offered to drive her home. The female declined this offer, as well. The man then touched the teenager in an inappropriate manner before leaving the area.

The victim was not physically injured.

Police described the suspect as a Caucasian male, around 40 years old, about 6’0″ tall, 200 pounds, with black and grey hair, and patchy facial hair. He was last seen wearing a blue zip-up sweater and black jeans. He was last seen operating a white 4-door sedan.

On Saturday, police released photos of the suspect. Police also revealed that they believe there was a female at the bus stop who witnessed the incident. Police are requesting that she call to speak with an investigator about what she observed.
